March kicks off as Kelly Clarkson comes in like a lion, sending “Piece By Piece” to a new #8 peak in its third run on the chart. Beyond her appearance, the top ten is fairly quiet: two of Lissie’s three top-ten singles move up, while Kris Allen squeaks “Waves” into the upper echelon. Nick Fradiani and newcomers MUNA both score top-forty debuts with their respective new singles “Get You Home” and “Winterbreak.”

Laura Mvula is steady at #1, with Lissie’s “Daughters” up a spot to #4 and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me” back into the top ten. Rihanna scores a third top-twenty single from ANTI as lead, Drake-featuring single “Work” moves 25-19, joining “Kiss It Better” and “Close To You.” Dua Lipa makes it a second week with a pair of big leaps for “Be The One” (#20) and “Last Dance” (#31), the latter just ahead of the second re-entry for Kelly Clarkson’s “Piece By Piece” and the week’s highest debut, “Love Me Like That” by The Knocks featuring Carly Rae Jepsen. Jepsen’s Fuller House theme rendition, “Everywhere You Look,” debuts as well, as do new selections by The 1975, Yuna featuring Usher, Tove Lo, Javier Colon, Kris Allen, Miike Snow, and Miguel.
Laura Mvula scores her second #1, as Nile Rodgers-featuring “Overcome” passes former chart-toppers Adele and Cam to take the top spot, while the rest of the top ten holds steady. Kris Allen’s “Waves” is the highest debut at #14; below the top fifty, the chart also adds debuts by Céline Dion, The Knocks featuring Walk The Moon, Mayer Hawthorne (whose “Cosmic Love” also re-enters), Fleur East, Yuna, and Hannah Grace.
Though the top three is close, Adele holds at #1 for a third week with “When We Were Young.” Lissie’s “Daughters” vaults into the top five upon the album release of My Wild West, while Charles Kelley’s “Leaving Nashville” moves into the top ten. Dua Lipa’s “Be The One” is the highest debut at #51, while she also introduces new song “Last Dance” at #88. Lissie’s album adds another five songs, led by “Sun Keeps Risin'” at #57. Sia, Gwen Stefani, and Lianne La Havas also begin charting new material.

Lissie moves into the top ten with “Don’t You Give Up On Me.” Charles Kelley adds another top-twenty song with “Leaving Nashville,” while also debuting another three songs from The Driver. Rihanna, however, scores the highest debut for a second week in a row as ANTI closer “Close To You” vaults in at #42.
After six weeks at the top for Cam and “Burning House,” she concedes the top spot to Adele’s “When We Were Young,” giving Adele her second #1 from 25 and fifth overall. Montaigne moves to #5 with “In The Dark.” CAFUNÉ moves both “Lay Low” and “Warm Body” into the top ten, with Lissie’s “Don’t You Give Up On Me” and Birdy’s “Keeping Your Head Up” just below. At #32, ZAYN’s debut solo single “PILLOWTALK” is the top debut. Aside from a lofty re-entry from Mackenzie Thoms, the rest of the chart’s debuts are from Rihanna, whose half-dozen new entries are led by “Kiss It Better” at #34, and Charles Kelley, who debuts The Driver tracks “Leaving Nashville” at #48 and “Round In Circles” at #75.

Cam stays at #1 for a fourth week, with Adele’s “When We Were Young” moving into the runner-up position. Lucius scores their first top-ten hit with “Born Again Teen” and CAFUNÉ gets a second top-twenty as “Lay Low” jumps 22-17. Birdy is the week’s biggest mover, however, as “Keeping Your Head Up” leaps from last week’s #100 debut up to #42. Just below, Alabama Shakes gets a lofty re-entry – the first of four – with “Sound & Color” at #46; Charles Kelley’s “Lonely Girl” is the highest new entry at #75.
2016 begins with Cam’s “Burning House” still on top and Adele occupying positions two through four, with “When We Were Young” moving to #3 ahead of “Water Under The Bridge.” Coldplay returns to the top ten with “Adventure Of A Lifetime,” with Lucius just behind. Tove Lo achieves the highest debut with a demo uploaded to SoundCloud called “Influence,” ahead of a re-entry from Elle King and debuts by Ra Ra Riot, newcomer Lostboycrow, and Birdy.
