After a record 27 weeks at the top, Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up And Dance” falls to #2 as Carly Rae Jepsen takes over with “Run Away With Me,” her first #1 hit. Alessia Cara and Matt Nathanson also move upward within the top ten, and Lianne La Havas posts two big jumps for Blood album cuts “Midnight” (61-12), “Ghost” (93-35), and “Tokyo” (92-44). Just below, Robin Thicke scores the week’s highest debut with “Back Together,” his new single featuring Nicki Minaj. Also making appearances are the remaining two tracks from La Havas’s album, Calvin Harris and Disciples, James Bay, a pair of tracks from Tame Impala, newcomer Hailee Steinfeld’s debut single “Love Myself,” a re-entry from Ashley Monroe, Gavin James, another Jepsen cut, and Young Brother.

While Martin Luke Brown holds down the top spot for a third week, Walk The Moon slides back into the top three with “Shut Up And Dance” as “Something In The Water” by Carrie Underwood enters the top five. Fifth Harmony scores their first top twenty hit with “Sledgehammer;” Calvin Harris and HAIM score the highest debut as “Pray To God” debuts at #58, beating new One Direction cut “Ready To Run” (#62).
A quiet week both within the top ten – Prince entering at #6 is the only notable activity – and on the chart as a whole, with Haerts leading debuts at #66. Next week’s chart should make things more interesting, with potential debuts due to new singles from Calvin Harris and John Newman, Jamie Scott and Christina Perri, Nickelback, Fall Out Boy, Daughtry, Nick Jonas, and Walk The Moon.
